Camelot offers a variety of training programs designed to meet the individual needs and attention
span of each animal. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. And you can help a young dog grow |
|
3-Private Lessons are available here at our facility or at your home. In a private
environment, you are taught to train your dog. We give you our undivided attention
and we are able to work with your particular needs.
|
|
We offer 2 boarding programs. Where we will board your dog and teach your pet
all obedience commands. |
|
During the IN HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAM, your dog will board at CAMELOT. He will be trained by a professional
trainer in a program according to each dog's individual needs and attention span. Your dog will learn basic
commands and manners such as not jumping up on you, not pulling on the leash, not to nibble on your hands
and will learn not to bolt out of doorways. |
|
In the 10 day training program, your dog will be taught the basic on leash commands during his stay at CAMELOT.
These commands will included, sit, stay, down, come and heel. Your dog will learn to respond through the use
of verbal commands and hand signals. We will work on housebreaking during your dog's stay with us. Please
understand, housebreaking is a gradual process which operates more on a percentage basis than on an all or
nothing basis. We use praise motivation as the primary method of behavior modification. |
|
At the end of the training period, you will meet with us from approximately one hour in which you will learn
how to execute the commands you dog has been taught. We will also give a written sheet of the commands for you
to take home and use as a reference. During the 24 day course we will work you dog using the basic commands
on and off the leash. Often we will need extra days to make up for lack of continuity. There is no charge for
these days, however, you will be charged a board fee. If we need to keep a dog extra days due to inclement weather,
board fees will be additional. |
| In all 3 programs we use “Praise Motivation” as the primary method of behavior modification. |
| Plan your vacation and come home to a happy trained pet. |
