Boarding, Grooming, Doggy Daycare, & Transport
Boarding
Every dog stays in its own private suite. Suites are fully climate controlled, indoor-outdoor 4′ x 6′ on the inside and 4′ x 10′ outside.
Each pet is provided with fluffy fleece blankets or a cot, access to freshwater, daily meals, and access to a personal potty pad. Your pet will have plenty of space to relieve themselves and socialize with their neighbors. Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us. Both areas are cleaned and disinfected daily.
1 hour of outdoor play (private or group), Walk, or Snuggles is included in our basic rate.
4 hours of outdoor play (private or group), Walk, or Snuggles is included in our upgraded rate.
Upgrades available to our Private Cabins. 10×10 Clubhouses with personal pea stone yards.
Daycare
Just for the Day or for your whole stay. Exercise and play is every dog’s favorite part of the day! We have 4 large play yards and 8 smaller play yards, including our new indoor play space! Playgroups are arranged by size, personality, and style of play to ensure best fur-ever friends. Our daycare groups have the option of free napping with their groups throughout the day or will be separated as necessary for our more reluctant nappers. While all-day play is great, naps are important to maintaining a happy balance among groups.
Camelot’s doggie daycare program offers a fun interactive day for your dog. With convenient drop-off and pick-up times, pet owners can now have a worry-free option. While in daycare, they have fun, interact with staff and other dogs that share the same temperament. All ages welcome.
See our rates page for discounted packages and memberships!
Training
We believe in balanced positive training. What does that mean? You can not treat away bad behavior. Your dog will never know what to do if you are inconsistent with what not to do. How do they distinguish the difference? You tell them Yes and No. Yes, they begin to associate with a treat. No, they learn to stop what they are doing and try to redirect their behavior to gain your ‘Yes.’ With our in-home board and train program, your dog will learn 10 commands and you will be provided a training booklet to study prior to your pre-departure lesson.
Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Off, Place, Heel, Wait, Drop it, and Leave it.
Currently, our training program is offered by Lindsey here at Camelot. Each program is tailored to the dog and owner’s needs. We offer three programs Board and Train, Training Daycare, and Private lessons. Please call for inquiries and availability.
What is Reiki?
As simply put as possible, Reiki is Energetic Healing. All living beings have an energy body in addition to our physical body and as we travel through life we absorb and interact with the energies of the people and places around us. Gone unprocessed or unreleased, it can cause blockages, stress, tension, anxiety, and even physical illness. That’s where Reiki comes in! Reiki moves, breaks up, and releases any blockages or retained energies in our body that get stuck, promoting the healthiest version of ourselves and our pets on an emotional, mental, and physical level.
What will my dog gain from receiving Reiki?
- Dogs are incredibly energetic beings! Not to mention emotional sponges – they soak up the feelings and energy of their humans and environments around them every day. Dogs are amazing healers, (there’s a reason they’re the most common emotional support animal!), but they take on that energy and not be able to release it themselves, and that’s where Reiki comes in!
- Some dogs are just naturally anxious or experience anxiety as a byproduct of an experience in their past – especially rescue pups! Reiki is a powerful healing tool to bring a more balanced calm, and reduce anxiety. Particularly if your dog is new to boarding, Reiki can help to alleviate separation anxiety, and promote relaxation and calm in this new environment!
- You don’t have to have an anxious dog for them to benefit from receiving Reiki though, as referenced above any and all can benefit from the balancing of our energy bodies and clearing out blockages that we accumulate in day to day life!
How does it work?
- Reiki Sessions are held in a quiet space with our Reiki Practitioner, Stephanie. Healing sessions are held individually (ie: 1 dog at a time, no shared sessions), and during your dog’s Reiki Session they will be free to move around the space. Stephanie will not need to have her hands physically on their body for the healing to work, so if they want to roam the room or aren’t super comfortable being touched or pet that’s okay! Energy has no physical restrictions so the healing benefit is still received. Everything is always done at each individual dog’s own pace and within their comfort level.
My dog is a Wallflower Pup, can they receive Reiki too?
- Absolutely! Stephanie will not need to have her hands physically on their body for the healing to work, as energy has no physical restrictions so the healing benefit is still received even from on the other side of their space.
Can my cat receive a Reiki Session?
- Yes! Reiki Healing can be done right in the cattery, so Reiki Sessions at Camelot are an option for your feline friend as well.
